Mr. Guertin joined Desjardins Group in 2024.
Alexandre has 25 years of experience, including at 2 of the top 3 life and health insurers in Canada, and has
developed a wide range of complementary skills. In addition to his extensive background in finance, accounting, risk
management, treasury, actuarial team management and acquisitions, he has developed a thorough understanding of the
Canadian life and health insurance and wealth management market, as well as an international perspective.
He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Accounting from
École des
hautes études commerciales
(HEC). He is a chartered professional accountant (CPA).
